Coastal College Campus
UNCW is centrally located between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean in Wilmington and is recognized as having one of the most beautiful coastal college campuses. The Gary Shell Cross-City Trail cuts through campus making the university easily accessible by bicycle. Neo-Georgian buildings are set among scenic landscaping including the Herbert Bluethenthal Memorial Wildflower Preserve and the nearby 174-acre EV-Henwood Nature Preserve.

ARTS & THEATER
The 1,000-seat Sarah Graham Kenan Auditorium is home to 170 artistically and culturally diverse events and performances per year. The auditorium is the location of UNCW Presents and the Lumina Arts Festival and is the largest arts venue on the UNCW campus.
Marine Quest Summer Camps
MarineQuest is the official marine science outreach program for the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Watson College of Education, and the Center for Marine Science. The program provides young people, ages 4-17, with opportunities to explore, discover and value our marine habitats. Visitors can enroll children in the summer camp program to experience the ocean in new ways.
Seahawks Sports
Visitors rooting for both home and away teams enjoy on-campus venues featuring basketball, baseball, volleyball, swimming, diving and more. UNCW’s Seahawk sports programs and “Sammy” the Seahawk bring excitement to campus venues like Trask Coliseum, Brooks Field, Seahawk Natatorium and the Greene Track & Field Complex.
