Wilmington, NC: On April 1 and 2, 2022, travel industry partners in Wilmington, North Carolina will welcome the 2022 Carolina Trampoline & Tumbling State Championships. The championship, sanctioned by USA Gymnastics, includes trampoline and tumbling athletes from both North and South Carolina. The two-day event will be separated into sessions consisting of various age groups and levels beginning Friday afternoon and concluding Saturday evening with awards to follow each session. This marks the first time the championship has been held in Wilmington.
Hosted by NC Trampoline & Tumbling, the 2022 Carolina Trampoline & Tumbling State Championships provide a fun, safe, and competitive opportunity for athletes across North and South Carolina. The goal of the event is to celebrate the elite athletes of Trampoline & Tumbling Gymnastics while offering the families a beautiful weekend surrounded by sun, sand, and the Wilmington Riverwalk.
According to event organizer Nicholas Minney, this year’s championship features the best athletes from trampoline gymnastics clubs across the state, highlighting talent from level one to world class elites. This weekend’s competition will showcase three Team USA National team members, six elite level competitors, and 200 additional awesome athletes who will show off their skills in the amazing sport of trampoline & tumbling gymnastics. During the two-day championship, participants and their families will stay at a variety of lodging properties and shop, dine and play in local establishments.

This year’s 2022 Carolina Trampoline & Tumbling State Championships will take place at the Wilmington Convention Center. Spectators are welcome for a small admission fee.
