Wilmington, NC: On May 25-27 travel industry partners in Wilmington and its island beaches will welcome the N.C. Local Government Information Systems Association [NCLGISA] when its annual Spring Symposium returns to Wilmington after a two-year gap due to the pandemic.

Approximately 600 attendees, including business partners and guests, are expected for the NCLGISA 2022 Spring Symposium with events held at the Wilmington Convention Center. Attendees will stay at a variety of hotels including Hampton Inn Downtown Wilmington, Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington Downtown/Historic District, Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center, Water Street Retreats and the Best Western Plus Coastline Inn.  “The Wilmington conference is our best attended event, and we always look forward to learning and growing in such a friendly and accommodating environment,” states NCLGISA President, Glenn Hasteadt.

Symposium attendees will take part in speaker sessions, educational tracks, panel discussions, roundtable discussions as well as sponsor showcases. Following the first day’s sessions, members and business partners will be treated to a private Riverside Luau to compliment this year’s Symposium theme, “Come Ride the Tech Wave”.

“We are excited to welcome the NCLGISA 2022 Spring Symposium,” states Kim Hufham, president/CEO of the New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority. “We look forward to welcoming conference attendees and enhancing their coastal Carolina experience with warm hospitality in hopes of encouraging return visits for future conferences and family vacations.”
