Wilmington, NC: On September 14-16, travel industry partners in Wilmington and its island beaches will welcome members of the North Carolina Public Health Association [NCPHA] during the organization’s Fall Educational Conference. The following week, September 20-21, the Wilmington Convention Center will also host the 2022 Builders FirstSource Mid-Atlantic Region Sales & Manager Meeting.
Beginning September 14, approximately 400 attendees, including 30 exhibitors, will arrive in Wilmington for the 2022 NCPHA Fall Educational Conference. Events will be held at the Wilmington Convention Center and attendees will stay at a variety of hotels, including the Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center and the Best Western Plus Coastline Inn.
The goal of the NCPHA conference is to gather public health professionals at every level from students to mid-career professionals to retired experts from around the state to exchange information and create a healthier North Carolina through effective public health practice and engaged citizens. During the conference, NCPHA will host a Scholarship Walk along the Wilmington Riverwalk in honor of Mr. Robert Parker, a former health director in New Hanover County who helped create the Robert Parker Leadership Scholarship. Proceeds will benefit the NCPHA Scholarship Endowment.
On September 20-21, approximately 400 attendees will take part in the 2022 Builders FirstSource Mid-Atlantic Region Sales & Manager Meeting. Guests will stay at various hotels in the area including the Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center, Hotel Ballast Wilmington and the Embassy Suites Wilmington Riverfront. Tuesday’s meeting events will open with a vendor tradeshow and breakout sessions followed by a welcome reception, dinner, awards event and a Casino Night. More breakout sessions will follow the final morning before the conclusion of the conference at lunch.
