The North Carolina Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NCANA), based in Raleigh, is the healthcare professional organization representing approximately 3,400 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and student nurse anesthetists. NCANA's goal is to protect and advance nurse anesthesia practice through advocacy and public education, and ensure patient access to safe, cost-effective anesthesia care, especially in rural and other medically underserved areas of the state.
“We are pleased to welcome back the N.C. Association of Nurse Anesthetists to Wilmington,” states John Sneed, vice-president of sales & services for the Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We look forward to welcoming NCANA conference attendees with warm hospitality and activities that will enhance their Carolina coastal experience. Our hope is that they will come for the meeting and stay an extra day or two to enjoy all our destination has to offer from the river to the sea.”
The New Hanover County Tourism Development Authority (TDA), d/b/a Wilmington and Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau, markets and develops the county and its communities’ leisure and group travel experiences for economic growth and quality of place.
