Wilmington, N.C. - March 13, 2024: On March 20-22, travel industry partners in Wilmington and its island beaches will welcome back members of the NCASA (North Carolina Association of School Administrators) for the 2024 annual Conference, following an 8-year gap. This will be the second NCASA conference held in Wilmington; the first was in 2016 and another was planned for 2020 but canceled due to Covid.

The two-day event will conclude with a highly anticipated Candidate’s Forum that will feature the candidates for State Superintendent and confirmed candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor races.

Attendees will stay at a variety of local downtown hotels, including: Best Western Plus Coastline Inn; the Hotel Ballast, Tapestry Collection by Hilton; Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center; Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington Downtown/Historic District and the Embassy Suites Wilmington Riverfront Hotel.

“We are excited to welcome back the North Carolina Association of School Administrators for their 2024 Conference,” states John Sneed, vice-president of sales & services for the Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Since the organization last held its conference in Wilmington in 2016, the Convention District has expanded, and the destination has much more to offer.
